ARTs in EDUCATION PROJECTS

As an arts practitioner and educator Tunde has been involved in collaborative/interactive/participatory art projects in educational contexts in Ireland since 2004 and in Vienna since 2024.

She initiates experimental, interdisciplinary, inclusive projects in school environments, including special education schools (Ireland),  integration schools and Sonderschule in Austria. Projects are participatory and collective, encouraging discussion and shared decision making processes. Focus is on co-creation, collaboration and creative placemaking through artistic activity, building connections with space and community, strengthening the sense of belonging. 

She develops and delivers regular arts in education programmes in various settings with a wide range of age groups – including exhibition/gallery based workshops, interactive tours, children`s art projects, artist residencies and collaborative installation projects.

Tunde is also a certified teacher of the DanceAbility™ Method and delivers dance programmes and courses in schools, focusing on improvised, embodied movement. DanceAbility™ is a method where people with and without disability can dance together, it is dance and movement for everyone, supporting social inclusion and equality.
