HAND PAPER MAKING and PAPER ART

A Weekend of Paper Making for Beginners and Participants with Previous Experience

20 August SATURDAY

10.30am – 1pm HAND PAPER MAKING: Traditional paper making using pure plant and recycled pulps

2.30 – 5pm   SILK FIBRE PAPER MAKING: Contemporary paper making from pure silk fibres creating striking `fabric-like` silk papers.

 

21 August SUNDAY

10.30am – 1.30pm SCULPTURAL and THREE DIMENSIONAL Works: Creating beautiful structures from pulps, papers and natural fibres

2.30 – 5.30pm   BATIK on Paper: Batik and various Wax and Dye Techniques on Handmade Paper

Fees for each workshop: € 35   OR: € 90 for any three workshops – including all materials  

BOOKINGS are confirmed with € 30 deposit paid in advance.* Courses are run for small groups only so please call to book early.

* DEPOSITs are returned if the Studio has to cancel a workshop. Cancellations from participants will be accepted up to 2 weeks before the course date and deposits will be returned. In other cases participants may be offered rescheduled dates/options.
